Embroidered kits for Hero Martial Arts Schools

Hero Martial Arts came to us in need of sports kits with branded logos for their schools based all over West Sussex from Cranleigh to Crawley, Godalming to Guildford. The logo features a green star with a black outline which appears on the front and back of the kits. A smaller ‘H’ emblem features on the caps and on the front of the instructor kits.

We’ve been working with Hero Martial Arts for over 18 months now, supplying a staggering amount of kits including;

  • 600 kits for children
  • 150 kits for adults
  • 600 capes
  • 250 T-Shirts
  • Plus over 200 caps, badges and belts!

With sizes ranging from children’s age 3 to large adult sizes, logos can really vary in sizes and stitch count with a large logo having over 45,000 stitches! Of course, all the kits need some sort of branding, from the colour of belts to martial kits themselves featuring trousers and tops. Caps and capes also feature logos, an addition to the kits to look even more the hero.

Our new embroidery machine offers a great price for caps

Embroidery is one of the many branding and embellishment services we offer at AppliedFX. Hard wearing and always popular, embroidery recreates designs into thread. Most fabrics can be embroidered and it is ideal for trades and commercial sectors. This effective type of branding can be positioned anywhere on a garment and offers a professional looking finish. Designs and logos go through a process of ‘digitisation’ allowing the machines to use thread to recreate them. Threads are available in a huge range, as is our catalogue of garments, so your brand can be applied to match and reflect your business.

One such clothing layer is headwear. From various styles of caps, to beanies, your head can be kept safe from the weather, wind, sun or rain. We can offer standard caps with front and back positions of embroidery, in addition to a wide range of caps and colours to suit your style and comfort.

Growing our factory

As embroidery is such a large and growing part of our business, we have added another TAJIMA machine to our factory. The new machine was supplied and fitted from AJS embroidery. The new machine offers easy threading with a tensioning system, full colour screen, laser position marker and reinforced cap frame system, it is ideal for embroidery onto headwear.

Uniforms and workwear, ready for reopening

AppliedFX has been busy in the run-up to businesses reopening; uniforms, workwear, and branded face coverings, along with layers to combat the changing weather. Our team has been embroidering logos onto sweatshirts, applying text to hi-visibility vests, and printed logos on to face masks in amongst the usual workload, Many clients re-order items or call in orders for new staff joining their teams. Some of these are local Horsham businesses working through the pandemic, trades such as builders, carpenters, roofers, and gardeners all adding extensions and garden offices to our homes, all needing their logos on everything from winter jackets to cotton vests, beanies to safety wear.

Embroidered log onto sweatshirts and heat applied text for Cooper Weston

Much of our work comes through referral and repeat business, as many Horsham-based businesses know our quality shines through and will order more workwear or uniform as they expand. Cooper Weston Electrical and Marten & Wright are two such companies. Cooper Weston have a red vinyl heat applied to cotton t-shirts and Marten & Wright have their logo embroidered onto a range of clothing, including gilets for their toddlers (see their Facebook page)

Vets for local Horsham businesses

Both based in Horsham, SplashTacular, and Wild Beast Gardening are new to our services. Wild beast Gardening is a new business with a logo featuring a jumping goat, embroidered onto cotton vests, ideal for outdoor work. The goat logo element is a large feature on their new van graphics too, courtesy of BEL Signs. SplashTacular’s logo is text-based and easily transferred onto these Hi-Vis vests using special vinyl for heat-applied use.

Be safe and seen

Customers are happier when they can easily spot staff and know you are making safety a top priority, which is why we can offer branded clothing options such as safety wear, workwear, Hi-Vis clothing, and face coverings. We can offer a range of branding options including embroidery, heat-applied transfers, and sublimation printing. This also allows for a range of budgets and uses, if you are looking for ‘hard wearing’ an embroidered logo may be best, but if it is high volume a heat applied transfer could work out as a cost-effective choice. If it is a rainbow coloured design you want that includes gradients or an almost photo-like finish we can offer a sublimated print onto clothing that won’t let your design down.
